Why do I only see the "Welcome" tab in my.UIC?

The portal is only available for newly admitted and continuing UIC Students. If you were not enrolled in the last year, then you may need to reapply. Please contact the Registration Helpline at 312-996-8600.

Why can I not see pop-up windows when using the Class Scheduling Tools?

The tool is best used with Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari browsers. For a better experience with the scheduling tools, we recommend that you do not use Internet Explorer.

How do I sign-up for Placement Testing?

Please login into my.UIC. Make the following selections: UIC Connect tab --->My College --->My Links and the Placement Testing link. Follow the additional prompts.

When do new students register for classes?

Newly admitted freshman and readmitted students will register for classes during Orientation.

How do I sign-up for Orientation?

Please note: you may only register for Orientation if you have submitted a "Yes" response for attending UIC in the upcoming semester. To register for Orientation, you may contact the Orientation Program by calling (312) 996-3271 beginning in March for Fall semester admission and October for Spring semester admission (transfer students only).

How do I view My Classes?

Login into my.UIC. Select the Academics tab and choose My Classes. Select the term in My Courses - UIC. If you have made recent changes to your schedule, please make sure to "reload" the schedule.

Why don't I see the UIC Connect Tab anymore (newly admitted students only)?

UIC Connect is only for newly admitted students from admissions to the 10th day of enrollment of the current semester. Current active terms are Spring 2011, Summer 2011 and Fall 2011.

How do I submit my Intent to Graduate?

Login into my.UIC. Select the Academics tab ---> Records. Under Student Record Links choose Declare your Intent to Graduate.
